
If you've already learned the basic theory and skills of diving during a PADI Open Water Diver course, Aquanauts' PADI National Geographic Advanced Open Water Diver gives you the chance to gain more experienced, become more comfortable in the water and earn a certification to dive to 30 meters / 100 feet while at the same time learn about new adventures, exploration and conservation opportunities as only National Geographic can show you.
The course includes two full certifications: PADI's Advanced Open Water Diver and the PADI National Geographic Diver. The advantage of taking this combined course is not only cost -- it's 2,500 less expensive than taking both courses separately, but iyour instruction will be integrated so that by the end of the two days you emerge as a diver with more skills an expereince as someone who has taken only the regular Advanced course.
During this two-day course you will make six open water dives, some of which are required and some of which are elective:
Navigation Dive -- (Required) You will learn to use a compass and navigate a square or rectangle using a compass and natural navigation

PADI Advanced Open Water Divers at least 15 years of age can enroll in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Specialty courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver course. PADI Adventure Dives can also credit towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver certifications.
